It is my understanding that . . .
"if you dont lift much, like 2" or so, you dont need to worry about a lot of that stuff...youll end up running a 33" tire at the largest, regearing isn't anything to be concerned with, joints and such will be fine, steering components and everything else will do just fine for many years.
going higher than 2.5" begins to invite busted front end parts, and anything larger than about 33" drives noticeably different."
Would you taco buffs agree with this?
I want to lift mine 2.0-2.5 inches with coil overs and a full leaf pack.
1.If I only do it 2.0" will I still wear out my cv joints?
2.Lift kit opinions, all pro, toytec, etc?
3.What are some good 33" tires for hwy and mod off road.
4. Does a 2" lift really only increase your truck height by 2"? Tires add some too i would think.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
