FRONT BRAKE LINE HELP

Were all gunna be that guy once so here it goes, no time to search. Cant get the damn lines off the front and my 10mm wrench keeps rounding off!! is there a special trick to gettin them off?

 

Vise grips?

Tube wrench?

 

The tacoma brake lines have very soft, aluminium like, nuts. The ideal tool to use on them is a Flare nut wrench. It will help reduce the chances of stripping the bolt head.

I F-ed up one of my rear brake threads, even with the tool it will be a hard bolt to loosen.
I do recommend buying a quality 10mm flare nut wrench because the tolerances on the Harbor Freight wrench will fit loose and strip the thread

 

thanks pat and david! still didnt get them off since we didnt have a flare nut wrench layin around, in the mean time we kinda stretched everything down and theres plenty stock brake line to be had.
