Okay i am looking to buy a newer Tacoma from auction which one comes first. Well i waned to know how much would a 3" lift kit cost a good one not crappy and not spendy (fair one). And If i go 6" lift do i have to do some adding to the fenders or anything? and i would like to run around maybe 35" tires. Thanks

one more thing is it a easy job to install them by your self (well i got couple bodys at home just like at home)

"Good" 3" kits.... .....plan on spending close to $1K or more.

Not sure what you're asking about the fenders and 6" kits.....but yes, you will be cutting fenders to fit 35's pretty much no matter what kit you get.

If you want bigger tires you'll have to make some changes. Full 3" lifts will fit 285/75/16 tires (around 33") with maybe some minor fender trimming. The 6" kits will get you up to 315/75 or the equivelant of a 35" tire.....and again some minor fender trimming will be needed, especially if you off road.

Yeh there is a lot of good stuff here, go to topics, then suspension. You asked about lifting your truck 6 inches without doing anything to your suspension just think how crazy that sounds, don't take that the wrong way just think about how your going to get it there and not break anything. You can go with a body lift if your just on the road for 2.5 inches. But don't expect the best ride but a lot of guys do it.
