Is their a right and left front strut

I purchased used bilstein front struts with lo mileage to replace the originals. I was told that the left strut has more spring rate so you must reinstall with the proper side. The struts i got are almost brand new but before i change em out i need to figure out which is which. I looked at both struts and they have the same numbers.Any suggestions on how to tell them apart.

Did you buy the complete assemblies or just shocks?
I assumed complete assemblies because you mentioned spring rate. The shaded area in the diagram I posted is the coil. See how the lower end of the coil is the same on each side, but the top hats aren't? This should give you an idea which is which.
If you're talking about just the shock; no, there is no difference.
Toyota parts numbers are goofy; some have specific left/right part numbers, but are actually the same part.
