Right Suspension Mod For Me

Allow me to begin by saying I have zero experience with any suspension modifications. I have read through the FAQ and multiple threads and am still wondering what would be best for my situation.

The Truck
2008 V6 PreRunner 2WD

I don't really "off road." I do tow occasionally and definitely get off pavement from time to time hauling my kayaks to remote put-in's. I'm not interested in the aesthetics of adding suspension modifications, only the ride quality and durability. I don't plan on buying new tires (I have basic stock replacements now). I also do not have a large budget to devote to improvements.

What are some basic suspension modification suggestions for my situation?

5100's on just the front, right? Would 0.85 level it out, assuming I did the 1.5 AAL?
