Cut the UCA bolt?

    I am almost completed with my lift install. The last component I need to install are the new UCA's to allow for more travel.

    I haven't made up my mind on what UCA to buy, but I do know I have to get the old one out.

    Has anyone removed the nut on the UCA bolt and wiggled the head out just enough to be cut? Is this possible with the right saw? I am not a fan of bending the metal on my fender well.

    Thoughts?

    NOOOO!!!

    It's a pain in the ass... and bending the metal is not a big deal... you can bend it back and the spray some undercoating...

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    The amount you have to bend is minimal. Much more easy to just bend the 1/2" of sheet metal. You never see it once its done, as the fenderwell liner covers it.
