Weird 5100's at 2.5 and 3" Toytech Lift

Switched out springs to the 884's and top plate spacer and it is the same height as when I had my 5100's set at 2.5 WTF??? Also now the drivers side is .5" lower than before

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.

Sounds about right. The 884's will give about 2.5" lift. The 885's give about 3". Also, the OME springs are not rated differently for Driver side and Passenger side, SO, as the driver side of the Tacoma is heavier, it will sag more on the driver side if not accounted for with different spring preload. The OME springs, when use with the OME shocks and trim packer on driver side, keeps the truck level from side to side, but the Trim packers are not compatible on the 5100's. You may want to replace the 10mm top plate spacer with one that is 15mm. That will have the truck sitting level from side to side.

sounds like the notorious "Taco lean" due the gas tank and other extra weight on the driver side makes it "lean" a little bit. You can try to set the preload a little stiffer on the driver side to acount for the lean.

It is an access cab so that is why I did the 884 guess I should have done the 885 At least it is done and rides much better now
