OME 885 Shock - Is this Bad

So, I was driving down a washboard road the other day and noticed a strange noise coming from my front end, it just looks like my shock completey failed, is Old Man Emu good with replacement? what is the warranty with these?

Is this ok to drive on until i can get a replacement?

not really safe to drive, hit a pothole and you could drive the shock top up and cause some damage...

probably safe to wheel around the driveway to get into position to fix...

it is either the shock or the lock ring in the top groove that failed....either way, it 's got to come out to fix...

Not very sporting to fire on an unarmed opponent.

It looks to me like the coil over was not assembled correctly.

How long have you had these on your truck?

If the washers and bushings are not installed in the correct order and facing the right direction this will occur. I've seen it before.

4k miles

It was professionally installed. However the rep at arb says the same thing. Time to get the shops story.

Well shit man, Good luck at getting it all fixed up, Sorry to see. Definitely not ARB at fault but most likely a shop error.
