Would air adjustable shocks be a bad idea on a prerunner?

My Charger had the famous Mopar rear end squat and I used air shocks to correct it. That engine was dynoed at 560 horse, had a pinion snubber on the dana and never had any problem with the shocks breaking or going flat. Would they be acceptable on our trucks?
