coil shocks vs shocks ?

After I get my allpro leaf pack I was wondering is there an oem coil over kits for the rear shocks ?

since our trucks use leaf springs in the rear there is no need for a coilover shock

shocks just dampen the movement of springs; the coils or the leafs take the weight of the truck and hold it up

so unless you heavily modify your rear suspension you dont need coilovers, just shocks for the leafs

Do you ant an auxiliary coil spring for the rear suspension in addition to the leaf pack?

I have not seen such a thing.

some people run a small coil on top of their leafs, usually around their bump stop as a "helper"... there was pics here someplace

kinda weird
