Wondering why you were 1" high in the rear with your fronts only at the 1.75 setting.. Are your leafs worn out already???

I have gone through the "rear-lift" evolution of block, aal, and just installed Dakar leaf pack.. The block was a waste of $...

I would recomend the zero rate blocks that ORD sells because they bolt into the spring pack with a new center pin. This makes them a lot less likely to get spit out under axle wrap. They are also solid steel and cheaper:

    http://www.offroaddesign.com/catalog/Zero Rates.htm

For the price of that ready lift block you could buy a wheelers offroad 3 leaf AAL which also comes with U-bolts.

I lifted the front of my 08 and had an 1'1/2 difference.. I bought an AAL from 4wheel parts warehouse. 50 bucks...rear is level, rides awesome.

Ill sell you my toytec 1in blocks and u bolts. I'm installing the icon 1.5 progressive AAL with 3 degree shims this weekend. Hopefully gets rid of my vibes.

Raycie- don't think my leafs are worn out yet. Only have 15k on my truck and not much hauling or towing. Unless they came weak from the factory

I think that's the standard for Tacoma leafs! :D

As for the vibes, do you have a carrier bearing drop kit installed? Put my lift on this weekend, no shims, just the CB drop and I have no vibes. It actually cured vibes I had when I was stock.

I tried 1/4 inch of washers to space it down didn't work. Rotated 180 degrees didn't work. Spaced down after rotating didn't work. But I have a OME drop spacer kit now so after I get my piñon within the 0-3 degree specs ill try that carrier bearing drop again. But hopefully the AAL and shim fixes my vibes

All else fails with my piñon in spec and carrier bearing spacer ill do a one piece drive shaft.

So i have an 09 Offroad.....have my billies waiting to be put on with a Toytec 1.5" AAL. The shop suggested I should go with a 1" block instead in view of having tranny issues down the road? Anyone have any feedback that have the AAL and Billies set at 1.75

Replied to your PM before seeing this post. If you already have the 1.5 AAL I'd just use that. Won't have tranny issues. Might get vibes though (but might get vibes with 1 in block too). Is your truck long or short bed? For some reason seems like DCSBs get vibes more then DCLB

I had two worries about adding a 1" block instead of the 1.5" AAL did not want to be nose high first off......and did not want to add any vibration issues.....

Got that and 4 Konig Matt blacks going on my Duratracks on Monday.....got a quote at 350 with a front end alignment......hope it all goes smoothly..........!!

I had the 1" block and just switched to the progressive 1.5" AAL pack. From my experience the only difference is my springs have more arc than before and more flexibility. Spend the extra cash go with the progressive 1.5 3 leaf pack. The 1" block was crap

Installed the icon progress 3 leaf AAL and 3 degree shims... my truck is now SMOOTH AS GLASS! except for a very very very minor take off vib. i'll try installing the OME carrier bearing drop tomorrow and it 'should' take care of my take off vib if not i'm trilled anyway because is as good if not better then it was from the factory. plus it rides better and will haul/tow more. The stance is absolutely perfect with about .5-1 inch rake. it's nice to sit on my tail gate and not have the truck drop 2.5 inches in the rear (im 200lbs).
