I have a 2012 access cab 4X4 that has a leer shell on it. I am replacing the stock 245/75 tires with 265/75 tires, keeping the stock steel wheels. I regularly carry 500+ lbs at interstate speeds and use it off road without the weight almost weekly.

The truck sits level with the shell, but I prefer the rear to sit higher and need the extra spring travel for carrying weight. I would also like to sit just a bit higher but not too high. I am thinking of adding 5100s set at .85 up front and 1.5in AAL in the rear. With the shell, the rear should be closer to 1 inch than 1.5.

What I don't know is if I need to replace anything else. Will the stock shocks work in the back or will I need longer ones for 1 inch? An issues with this combo?
