Recommend lift amount

I am really really wanting to get 33" mud tires. But I'm not to savy on suspension stuff. How much do I need to clear?

3in will look nice most likely have to take off front mud flaps and trim a little in the inner fender liner

 

You can run them with no lift or 6"s of lift

 

i know very little about your year truck but you're likely looking to 3 inch lift all around and can maybe run 33x10.5'ish size with basic trimming. any wider tire than that will require more trimming that might be simple for you or too much, that depends on your comfort level with trying to cut your truck. i did it on my last truck and was pretty nervous, never did that kind of thing before, but after that 1st cut it feels like fun. search time!

 

lift doesn't matter its all about how much u want to cut lol but a 3in lift with 33s very common that's why I suggest that

 

Here's mine running 33/12.5/17 which is roughly a 305 in width.





Im running kings with 700lb springs, as you can see i have very little preload and in actuality im sitting at about 2.5ish inches of lift... You can see in the pics i cut the bottom of the fenders to get rid of most of the rubbing. However, i do still rub on the driver side cab mount when fully flexed and turning (I have the cmc plates just lazy )
