5100's installed on lowest/stock setting and still nose high. What's the deal???

My local Toyota dealer installed my 5100 Bilstein shocks today on stock springs.
I purchased the Bilsteins from Toytec but there's an issue obviously by the pictures.
I had them use the lowest/stock height setting.
The front end looks like I gained about 5 inches in height. WTH?

I have a 2013 Tacoma Prerunner SR5 2.7 2WD

Is my front end too light?
Will the springs settle and lower?
Is something installed incorrectly by the dealer?

 

5 inches?? That's definitely not right lol. You shouldn't have gained any height on the stock setting with stock springs. Post pics

They mounted the bottom plate upside down...

 

Looks like the installed the coil things upside down I think...could be wrong but I think those are supposed to go down...not up

 

As bullettooth said, the spring plate is upside down. Take that shit back..

X10....yup the bottom spring bracket is upside down and I know this from personal experience lol. Take it back and have them redo it.

 

x1000 upside down is the problem

 

So yea...that's a good 3-4" of lift or so. Good thing you're a pre-runner, you're CV angles would be crazy with that much lift lol

 

Yikes! Get that truck back to a shop ASAP. It is dangerous to be driving it that way.

 

I'm at the dealer fighting with them as we speak the driver side shock was definatitely damaged

 

Another angle. Sway bar/ control arm strike?

 

I wouldn't drive it at all. The lower spring perch is supposed to surround the clip keeping it in it's channel. It wouldn't take very much at all at this point to pop the clip out and cause some real damage.

 

Should both shocks be replaced or just the damaged drivers side?
