UCA/lift questions

    If i plan on leveling my truck with 5100's all around or just in the front am i going to need new UCA's or just alignment?

    you should be fine with just the 5100's and an alignment

    general rule is 2.5"

    I was at 3.5" before I swapped my UCA (in-process now), didn't have any major problems besides blown CV boots.

    but that's a different story


    but every truck is different. Some people will be fine, some will get vibes

    White, debadged, Mudflaps removed, ICON 2.5 in front, 2.0 in rear, all 4 corners have reservoirs, Spidertrax wheel spacers all around, BAMF bolt on sliders, Avid lightbar, oem transmission cooler converted to power steering cooler, aftermarket transmission cooler eliminating all oem transmission cooler stuff, remote mounted spin on transmission fluid filter TrueTrac rear differential, rear diff housing vented and filtered into left side bed box, URD MAF calibrator, Volant intake scoop into oem airbox, second filter removed, airbox internals smoothed, blended and polished throttle body, NST intake manifold spacer, Wet Okolee set covers, WeatherTech Digital Fit mats, inexpensive JVC single DIN, Scangage, AVS Stepshield door sill protectors, Doug Thorley Long Tube Headers, URD Y pipe with O2 sims.
    Wouldn't the year of the vehicle make a difference? I am under the impression your info is in regards to an early Tacoma while the OP is asking about a late style Tacoma.

    OME complete kit w/ 885s on Nitrocharger Sports, 1/4" spacers, Dakars w/ Nitrocharger Sports, LR UCAs, 265/70-17, Duratracs, G4 Elite tonneau, Weathertech Window Deflectors, Weathertech digital floor liners, factory JBL/Entune, rear differential breather relocate.
    About 2.5" is the max and that is pushing it from everything you'll read on here.

    not really. our vehicles all have the same suspensions; sans differently placed bolt holes and model specific hardware

    lifting affects both ifs systems the same

    FabTech C/Os, Solo tubular UCAs (on order)Solo spindles(not installed) Glassworks front and rear, made by me Rocksliders, Premier Navi,
    I am at about 3 or a bit less and no vibes just recently started getting neg camber wear on my tires. But also in the process of UCAs and spindles to lower my preload

    Whats the biggest wheel size i could run with that kind of lift?
