Hi guys new member here. Longtime lurker. My question is should I do an AAL or do the TSB. Is it a waste to do an AAL on the old spring pack? I have searched and I don't see a definitive answer. I am still confused after reading thru all the pages on the forum.

5100's all around, fronts @.85, Wheelers 3 leaf progressive AAL with the shortest leaf removed & no overload. (1.0" lift)
    1. The TSB is free.
    2. The TSB will give you some lift (1/2-1.0"approx)
    3. The TSB is free !!!

I would do the TSB, you may get what you are after, if not, then spend your hard earned $$$ :pout:
Putting a AAL on a sagging worn spring pack will bring back some lift, BUT, the AAL will be working harder, so it may not give you the advertised lift and it will most likely start to sag prematurely.

Thanks for the information. I want to add an AAL to keep the rear from sagging while I tow my trailer. My truck is only 1 year old and is sagging somewhat and I have only towed with it three times. My trailer is only 2400 lbs. with 280-300 lbs. of tongue weight. I will get the TSB and then add an AAL. Thanks again for your response.

TSB. Nothing like $1500.00 of parts for free. Same complaint when loaded. You can see on the top of the invoice and TSB #. Added a half inch
