    My truck is an 06 and it has never had the suspension TSB done. But yet it drives and sits like it did have the TSB done.

    still has the 3-pack.....

    go load up 600-800 pounds of something and see how it does....

    Actually I think it's only rated for around 800 so try about 600

    ill just borrow some cender blocks from lowes. :)

    I wont ever put that much weight in my truck

    I think some of us just got lucky with our stock suspension. I have no issues with mine. It has never come close to the bump stops, and I have had about 650 lbs in it.

    Yeah mine have NEVER bottomed out on speed bumps, wavy instersections, heavy loads, Nothing.

    Go look at the thread that I have in the 2nd Gen. "80F in Auburn.... This is what i did ALL day." It looks normal compared to the people who did have to get it done.

    You 2nd gen guys can only put 800 pounds in your bed pre TSB?

    Aren't first gens rated at like 1500 pounds or something?

    You have to account for model (D-Cabs have less payload then R-Cabs because they have more truck there. 4x4's tend to have lower payload capacity due to extra parts for the 4x4 operation.) and for persons in the truck.

    My '08 4x4 Access Cab is rated for 900lbs cargo or so when driving with two people (so figure about 1200-1300lbs total).

    And then you have the towing capacity of the truck (so you have to consider tongue weight in payload)...
