Hi guys, newb user here so please go easy :D

    So I have a 2004 4x2 Regular Cab tacoma (small truck)tacoma not lifted.jpg.

From time to time I've seen the 4x4 lifted models and I've really liked the look tacoma lifted.jpg.

What can I do to lift my truck to look like the 4x4 models? I don't want to spend too much if I don't have to.

    Thanks guys!

I once wondered the same thing for my own truck a '97 2wd.

Turns out there really isn't much we can do to our trucks to make it look like that and look good short of doing a complete conversion. You could try leveling it with spacers in the front then slap on some large tires that will come kind of close, but for the 2wd Tacomas the majority of our modding option are on the lowering end of the spectrum. Drop that baby to the ground and give it some hydraulics!

If the lift is that important to you though you might as well buy a Tacoma with 4wd because the cost of a conversion will cost about as much.

Now if there's someone on here that has some experience to the contrary feel free to say. But this is what I've been able to figure while trying to give mine that lift.

    Sorry bud :/

    ok thanks for the reply!

I totally thought it would be an easy upgrade but I guess it'll have to be just putting on bigger tires.

    thanks!
