Would I need to do the shocks up front as well? Here's my delima... 1) I can't spell dilemma... 2) Haddock Auto Body shop has to do the work per insurance, so I will pick up the bumper tomorrow from 4WP and head over there and have them put up new plastic crap pieces and install the bumper... 3) I know the winch will be a pia to get on after the bumper, if possible at all - so I may have to take it back off... 4) I already spent money on the winch, but I'm willing to return it and spend that money elsewhere on shocks and springs and buy a winch later (besides I have 265 AT3s, they took me through the green swamp a month ago when it was semi dry, but I don't think I'll be mudding - and consequently getting stuck with these shoes on)... Maybe after I get 33x1250s or 285s....

Also... Does anyone know what kind/height of lift/tire setup this is... I'm still getting used to identifying Taco lifts. I can see the stock skid plate, the CVs angled up some, and what looks like OME shocks? I'm guessing its a 3" with AAL or new leaf pack and coilovers cranked out? http://www.relentlessfabrication.com/toyotabumpers.html

ARB weighs about 160 lbs, run the 886s with the nitro charger shocks up front and a 2" aal, I'm running the same setup without the weight, and i love it.

Want to meet up today? I can help you clarify some stuff.

Shocks don't lift unless they are Bilstein 5100 or Icon style adjustable coilovers. Old Man Emu Springs lift, and should be paired with Old Man Emu shocks. (I have OME 886x springs and OME shocks). Yes you should do springs and shocks in the front.

    3) it can be taken off easy enough, you have extra hands available.

    4) You're tires are fine, I run Cooper Discoverer ATP's 265/75r16

That sounds promising. I will look into the pricing for that. Toytec looks like the best place to buy through. Am I correct in assuming this?

Toytec and DSM have similar pricing, I'd check both, both are good vendors and I've ordered plenty through them as well without issue.

Sweet! I need to up my AT3s.... I am heading over to 4WP later this morning to pick up the arb and the light kit. And then to the shop. So.... One last opinion: do you think I should leave the winch off for now and upgrade my suspension first? I am leaning toward this route.

Thanks man! Me too! I've always loved the tacoma, and when I saw they made a dclb I was hooked.... No other truck would do it for me.... I miss the sitting height of my f150 but I already have more ground clearance with smaller tires and 3" lift lol....

So I didn't get my truck back. They said Tuesday, maybe.... Oh well...

Got my truck back after a freaking headache with the insurance check... Still havent gotten any money and had to pay out of my saving account. Oh well... Hopefully I'll tie that up soon. But I got it back and man does that look good! I love the ARB! I honestly was worried about how it would look on my truck and how much it would bring it down. It might have brought it down 1/2" if that... I kept the winch and I may play with that next weekend and try and put it on there. I'll probably wind up upgrading my suspension around Christmas. I'll post some pics later tonight.

The shop didn't trim the fender flares at all. They just removed them. So I have the front of the fender flare/bumper connection thing. I'm just going to cut it down to size and fit it up one weekend here soon. Oh and put my Duck Commander plate on the front :)
