They have settled to about 2" of lift.

Important to note that this is on a DCLB, this may equal 2.5" on a DCSB or Access cab.

from what i've read...people with dakars get anywhere from 2.5-3" of lift, so you'll be sitting slightly lower, what if you put a .5" or 1" block and the skyjacker springs? that is if you're trying to match the dakar in height

Knocking the dust off this thread

Someone at a friends house was asking about these and I never heard of them. Are they actually full leaf packs replacing the factory ones or just like an add-in using the first spring with the eyelets?

We have a debate going and most think they are like a multi leaf AAL, but the official answer is a mystery as of now.

Full leaf spring replacement. Not a multi-leaf AAL.

I have some on my truck, they are the 3.5". Little bit too much rake in the beginning but they settled pretty well and sit pretty level with a bit of weight in the bed. They're not bad leaf springs but if i wiggle the wheel back and forth while driving at a decent speed the rear end has a delayed "sway" i guess you could call it. Almost like theres too much body roll in the rear. It could be because my springs are the taller ones...and i mean they are called "soft ride" leaf springs.

I installed the same Skyjacker set on my 2009 DCOR about 2 months ago. I have 5100s all around with the fronts set at .85 plus a camper shell and cargo bed slide (about 300 lbs between the two of them). Even with the permanent weight in the back, I still a little over 1.5 in the back and have a nice slight forward rake to it.

I absolutely love how they ride, but my drivers side developed a squeak about a month ago. Used some wax based motorcycle chain lube which fixed it for a few days, but the squeak is back again. I've isolate it to the driver side spring between the forward clamp and the U-bracket for the brake line mount. I'm going to try lining between the springs in that area with some plastic strips cut from oil jugs this weekend and see how it goes.

Don't get me wrong...I'm not discouraged by the Skyjackers in the least. Again, I absolutely love the ride. It's that good that I'll either put up with the squeak or keep after it while I "Cadillac" around with my Skyjackers and 5100s.

If anyone has a solution that they know works on the Skyjackers to fix the squeak, I'd love to hear it.
