Ok so after countless hrs of reading to make sure I only did this once I think I went wrong with my lift. I ordered the bilstein/eibach setup for my 01 ext cab tacoma v6. Hoping to get 2.5 -3" of lift in the front. Apparently I can only get 1.6" of lift on the bottom setting. Not really wanting to raise the coil up anymore because I want a good ride. So can anyone tell me how much lift I might get out of this setup? I knew I should have went with coilovers!!!! Anyway thanks for the help

The 1.6" of lift you keep hearing about with 5100's and Eibachs is for 2nd Gens. You will get more lift out of that setup on a 1st Gen. Not exactly sure how much, but I believe you will be in the 2.5" range but wait for a 1st Genner to confirm.

3" lift EIBACH coils w/ 5100's front, OME/ Dakar leaf springs w/ toytec adjustable shackles at 1.5" and 5125's out back. 33x10.5x15 KM2's Relentless DIY steel bumper.
You'll be at 3" for sure, Especially if you don't have any extra weight up front. Like Pugga said, 1.6" with the Eibachs is for 2nd gens. I'm a double cab 1st gen (2001) and I have the 5100's with EIBACH coils up front. At first I got 3.15" of lift, then after it settling a bit I'm right at 3" of lift up front. I love the ride, so I think you did fine with your setup.

Also, make sure you put them on the bottom setting, don't use any other setting. 2nd gens have 4 settings, 1st gens have 3 settings. 2nd gens can bump up to the 2nd setting, but not 1st gens.

I had Billy 5100s and Eibachs on my old '00 extracab v6. got just a hair more than 3" lift with the stock bumper. with an elite offroad plate bumper, was still ~2.5". very good ride. you'll like it.

put the plate at the lowest setting on the shocks. the coils do all the lift.
