If you do a full 2-3" of lift via Top spacer, you'll allow the wheel to over-droop and lead to excessive CV joint wear(and possibly binding/breaking one) as well as torn ball joint boots and premature ball joint wear and failure.
I would say with all that, either go preload spacer if you're fully set of spacers(between coil/top plate, not on top of top plate) or just get the 5100's for the few extra $$ and get a better ride over stock instead of a worse ride and premature parts wear with spacers.

Sounds good. Thanks for the input. Been research I g for the past month on which way to go. So the bilstein at highest setting will be the best way to go for the cheapest price.

Hitch and wiring, aux back-up light, rear strobe lights, radio and underseat sub.
The problem with a spacer lift is that the suspension bottoms out before reaching the bump stops. Eventually the strut breaks.

Oh OK. I use my truck for highway driving about 99% of the time so I just wanted get some more facts about them I just figured it to be a quick cheap lift but didn't know it will cause so many problems. . I am so use to my vw and lowering so this lifting stuff is all new.
