I have a 2007 toyota tacoma prerunner and have this lift on well my truck had the factory rake well i guess the lift is 3" in the front and 3" in the back well when I had it put on I still have the rake but the truck does sit higher. Has anyone had this same experience with this lift?

If it had the rake before hand you raise the front and back 3" the rake will still be there. Are you wanting to know how get rid of the rake? If so, more details on your lift would be helpful

Did it have any top-plate spacers that weren't installed?

I might be wrong but it accounts for the rake and when you are done its level. So it would be say 3" in the rear and 2.25 in the front. And it would bring it to 3 and 3.

That's what I would think. Most trucks come standard with a bit of rake to compensate for the load you haul in the bed.

If its like most other 3" lift kits it should be a 3" lift up front and a 2" lift in the rear to level the truck out. If indeed it raised the truck 3"s in the back then you are still going to have that rake.

There was nothing left off and my truck had the rake and was 2" lower in the front so if it only add 2" in the back and and 3" in the front I would still be unlevel by 1" and it did come with rear blocks 2" rear blocks and new shocks

I don't know if this will help but I'll start from the beginning my truck is a 2007 toyota tacoma prerunner and it's 2wd and has a 3 leaf springs from the factory and when I bought it it had almost 53,000 miles and was a one owner and it has 67,000 miles on it now I have had it about 8 months and when we bought it it was super clean inside an out and the only thing wrong was a car seat for a little kid had been in the back and you could see where it had been sitting and I haven't hauled anything since I have had it and it has the lift I told y'all about, I have heard from a few people about this that your leaf springs can settle which means the rear will lose ride hight but I heard that they would haul something heavy to make their leaf springs settle do you think that my leaf springs haven't settled yet is why I might have this problem? And the previous owner I do not know if he ever haul anything or used it to haul a lot

I dont know why your truck sat so low in the front before the lift? Is it a spacer lift up front or was it new springs and shocks?
Yes from the factory they will settle a little bit when the truck is brand new and at 67,000 miles they have def settled and if anything they are losing their integrity. With the 2" rear blocks and the 3"s of lift up front you should be sitting perfectly level so not sure why you still have the rake? Are you sure you dont have the overload extra leafs from the factory?

It is the spacer lift up front and I don't know about the leaf springs all I know is, is that I have only 3 leaf springs in the back

I have thought about this but the reason it might still have the rake is that my spacer up front might only be 2" instead of 3" but there's a used car dealership where I live and they only sell toyota tacoma's and a lot of them trucks have the same lift as me and where they got them lifts done for their trucks is where I got mine done and I have looked at them trucks to see what has been done to them and I have measured to see if there is any difference from my truck and there is and they all sit the same in the front but they are 1" lower in the rear but that still makes it 1" high in the rear but my truck sit 37" in the front from the ground to the center of the finder and 39" in the back, I still have the stock tires which are 265/65r17

Well I'll say this when I went to have this done I told them I wanted a 3" leveling kit and that's what they wrote and the recite "not sure I spelt that right" but when got the truck back that's what I had on there, they also told me that they did the 3" leveling which came with 3" in the front and 1" in the which would have out me level in my case cause I sat 2" lower in the front but that's not what I got but this is what I believe I got, give a a second I'm trying to post it but I using my phone
