Hi everyone I am new to the forum so I am hoping I posted this in the right place. If not maybe some one could help guide me to the right section.

I have an 04 tacoma with the six inch fabtech lift and the steering extension for the lift seems to be rubbing on my frame! It is angled towards the driver side of the truck and the top of the the extension is resting completely on the frame. I need to replace it due to it cracking from being at such an angle but when I replace it I was wondering how to make sure I put the extension in correctly without it rubbing on the frame again or being anywhere near it thanks!

    Holy God that's terrifying.

You have pics? Might be best to just take it to a shop if you're not comfortable fixing it.

Im I'm comfortable fixing it. I cant really afford to take it to the shop. espcially when the shop owner is a buddy and says he doesnt even know how much it will cost....

I was thinking pf taking off the tie rods and everything that goes with it...then line it up right and put it back together then a wicked alignment haha.
