I recently bought a 2006 regular cab tacoma and noticed that it's really bumpy. I might have to replace the shocks but figured that I may be able to buy someones stock suspension from the trd sport or trd offroad.

    Will these fit my truck?

    Will it lift my truck?

I'm not looking for a lift i'm just looking to get a more comfortable ride.

Does your truck have 5 Lugs or 6 Lugs per wheel?

Prerunner suspension won't work with the 5 lugs.

Not that i don't trust you but they seem like the same fit underneath? Is it the size of the shock or the spring will lift the truck?

Can someone make a recommendation on new shock setup for a regular cab?

I thought about this too long ago before I bought a prerunner, but I read somewhere that the frame is different too and there's no real way to convert.

Have you looked at the 4x4 suspension and 5 lugger suspension side by side? They are nothing alike. 95Taco is correct, parts will not swap over.

Psst, the bilsteins won't fit the 5 lugs.

The 5 lugs spring rests on the LCA and that's its perch, on the 6 lugs the spring perch is on the shock.

    6 lug shocks/springs

    Thanks this makes sense!
I didn't look at the button of the shock on my regular cab truck.
