So I've had my fabtech DLs on for about a month and just yesterday I went fishing and locked it in 4H only to get a loud this every few feet. It appears that when I turn my CV axles hit the coilover ?! Wasnt a problem in the past 3 weeks so I'm curious as to why it's doing it now.... Completely lost also still need an alignment if that matters at all

Do you have pictures of this?

Also do you have manual hubs? If you don't the CV's should be contacting the C/O's whether you are in 4wd or not.

Or was it contacting it while the suspension was cycling? (ie you weren't on level ground).

Ill go take some, and nope ADD its also weird because it only does it when I'm turning either way but not when I'm going straight, also it was on flat ground

Further examination, appears cv axles are not hitting the coil overs... thinking maybe my passenger side cv axle finally decided to go, boots been open for a few months

They're the right COs ended up being bad bearings in the CV axle

He deleted his post but I kind of want to agree with him, unless it is just different for 1st gens. Put your Taco on a jack and droop the tire out all the way and see if they touch.

I would agree on the bad CV causing the noise though.

Yeah I know they're the right ones cause I've had them for over a month haha I forgot my boot had ripped before I went muddin last so the bearings are prolly toast, and it's only on the pass side

    Don't you need extended rods?

See how mine are about 2" taller than yours, to clear the CV.

Also on my Icons when I had mid travel with stock lowers.
