I have people come back to me after I can't fix their vehicle because I pull them into the shop and explain things to them in simple terms so they understand. Trust is a big deal to me, I mean this is someones life we are talking about! Damn most shops make me so mad!

Will you please move to Idaho and open a shop with a lifetime alignment option? :D

As for the OP, I would go back and complain that they didn't even attempt to touch the camber. That is an OEM LCA isn't it? The UCA and shocks don't affect how the alignment is done. Like I said before your UCA's should help make it easier since they won't end up maxing out the adjustments.

    Try to turn it.

Does yours have an end that looks like this? I just loosen the bolt and put a wrench on the cam tab.

You try to rotate the other side, should be the same size as the nut. It may be very difficult without turn plates. If you just want to see if they will move, jack the truck up so there wont be much resistance. Mark your cams to the crossmember so you can return it to the same spot first! Max should look something like this o )______( o not ( o_____o ) looking from the front of the truck.

Is that nut attached to the cam tab? If so you just need to try to turn it.

Did you do it yourself and has it been this way since installed?

Good job then! Just a tip if you didn't already do it, I leave every pivot point loose till the weight is back down on the tires then tighten everything up. Then after the alignment I loosen the non alignment parts back up and retighten to make sure no bushings get bound up. Most people tighten everything up while in the air and without lube on the bushings they can bind up. On our trucks this means the lower shock mount and the upper control arm and heck the sway bar bushings if you feel spunky! Just don't try to do this with the lower control arm bolts that is where your adjustment is at. On the lowers, if you go to mess with them, only loosen one at a time.

    Too few to list.
I had a similar experience with an alignment. The first shop said their alignment is only Toe and camber and caster was double the price. I took it to the shop across the street and at least they were gonna adjust toe, camber and caster but once they had the truck, the tech was telling me my caster was maxed out and either turn did not lessen or increased caster so I go out and look and saw that he was only adjusting the front bolts and not the rear so I told them to take it off the rack so I can take it elsewhere. Luckily, the third shop knew how to do alignments. The tech even adjusted my camber via UCA (LR SPC arms). It's usually the front bolts that gets frozen due to rust. Like someone else said, jack the truck, mark your tabs and rotate bolts.

Try another Firestone since you did purchase the lifetime alignment.
