I dont honestly kno, but they're made by Alcan spring so they are good quality. They also cost like $100 more than the dakars. and the "taco lean" won't be fixed unless you put a top plate spacer iirc.

New Navigation DVD/CD/TV/AV/Bluetooth Stereo and seat mod spacers, 1" hubcentric spacers, seat heaters....
Was your budget of 1k doing the work yourself, or are you going to pay someone to do the deed when you pull the trigger?

If you do the work yourself the 1k will put your suspension back in good shape, heck, even the cost of an alignment would fit into the budget....

Here is the setup i just mentioned. I just noticed it says the 880s should add about and inch of lift, but i think they settle over time to about stock height.

so, looking at this, if I don't replace the UCAs than the alignment will never be right and I would always have a negative camber? messing up my traction, weight distribution and tire life?

I really don't think you're going to need new UCAs unless you lift like over 2-3 inches. My father in law has his '04 lifted two inches with stock UCAs and has never had any problems with alignment. he has over 200k miles on his setup.

    anyway good luck!

I drove around for a while without new UCAs on my OME 886 3" lift, plus my lower control arm cams are froze. The tires wore a little rough but it didn't eat them up to quick. Your alignment should be able to be put in spec with an inch or 2 lift.

I have Bilstein HD's now, this is the set up im getting after the first of the year. General spring HD's, 5100's all around from DSM, and OEM 880's from wheelers all for around $900 give or take minus labor and alignment.
