Anyone tried to get Deaver to respond? Normally when there is a big thread about a product a manufacturer should be pretty quick to jump on.

Have you called Deaver or the shop you purchased them from? maybe you can get your money back and return them to Deaver, I did, if you have your stock springs maybe look over 4WD's thread on refurbishing your stockers or maybe Doug has a set already done.

I did. First with my dealer Wheeler's Off Road. Dan is trying to help me out, he told me that they are talking with Deaver to make something about it (like an Add a Leaf) or something, but I already ask him for a change/refund/something to fix it. I also wrote to Deaver and they ask me if there is a change to sold to anyone those leafs and I can buy another pack for more heavy duty use!!!
I'm feeling like kinda disappointing because I had read lots of marvelous things about deaver leafs for the 1st get tacoma (when I had one). Now I have to pay for another pack, pay shipping, travel to USA (more spending), and keep hoping to enjoy driving my truck.

I'm hearing some good things about the Timbren air bags for the rear suspension. Supposedly better than Firestone RideRites. Ease of install and removal. For towing supposedly they're great, eliminates the sag. Opinions?

Yeah, First I had in mind Timbren airbags, then add a leaf or shackles, but whatever I put, the leafs are really weak/flex, so they don't will fix all the issues at all.

If you look at the video that I post, they even bend with just accelerating the truck!

    Timbrens aren't airbags

Did you put the Timbren "airbags" on it? I see below OZ says they're not really air bags.

I had a guy from SDHQ Offroad recommend the Timbrens to me as a compromise between tow capacity (load capacity) and offroad ability once the trailer is unhooked.

I'm leaning towards the Timbrens right now, because I'm not all that enamored of too much lift in the rear with a Dakar pack or any AAL for that matter. I don't want to mess with the geometry of the truck as a sacrifice to load capacity.

Timbrens aren't airbags like Ride Rites , Timbrens are essentially oversized dynamic bump stops

My bad!, You are right. I thought they were because they look like and I saw them on a page in a section with all load assistance stuff.

They are "rubber springs", designed to replace the bumpstops.

No, I did not. I was trying to say that they were first choice on my mind to "fix" my deaver leafs issue. But I decided to replace them. I'm now waiting for the dealer's answer.

Not the rear springs. The shocks, yeah. The springs, no, I thought that was clear. The rear springs are taking a beating offroad with the trailer hitched up. The WDH, the Equalizer? That's worthless offroad, it's gone.

With the straight hitch the leafsprings are well, you know. Need an upgrade and I'm searching around for the best compromise.
