I have the OME 885's on 5100's. I heard that they are a little over 3"s when first installed but will settle to right around 3" after a little while. Chris4x4 has the OME 885's and OME shocks installed on his truck. I'm sure you will hear from him.

I read a post from Chris4x4 yesterday talking about just this...said that a prerunner will get 3" of lift. If you have a 4x4 DC stock bumper they are saying that you will end up with 2.5" after the springs settle. Someone I guess had called Toytec and this is what they said.

http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/sus...-4x4-lift.html

Read the post above...to see what Im talking about.. I dont know if I would be interested in OME 885s after reading that. I want a full 3"

Yeah I hear yah. I am actually running the 885's with 5100's set at 0. To be honest with you. I think my truck only settled down about 1/4" from when it was first installed. I'm not sure if I wrote down the numbers though! All-in-all, I am happy with my lift so I'm not complaining.

A while back, OME redesigned the way they make their springs, so they dont sag like they used to. I have a feeling that some manufactures are selling old stock, and that is why people are haveing issues. I got my 885's from Wheelers Offroad, and they have given 3" of lift. I belive that most of the people that have recieved the 885's have gotten the same lift height. Im waiting to see what WW's hieght is. I only know of a few people that havent gotten the 3" lift with the 885's, and I was told by Wheelers that if the full lift wasnt gianed, the springs would be swapped out.

Yeah I have also heard the same. I just ran with the 5100's due to the price difference. I love how it rides! A little stiffer then stock but that's okay to me. Did you get the pre-cut lamin-x?

Hey Chris, I'm at work right now but I will measure it when I go home for lunch and let you know. I keep thinking 39" or 39.5"s for some reason for the driver's front side. Not positive though. Whats your height for the front drivers side?

Tire size is 285/65/18's Nitto DG's. It actually measures out to be like 32"s or just a bit over. Not the full 33"s.

Got yah. Now be very careful when you put them on. I know mineand a few other people have installed the pre-cut ones and they don't cover the whole light cover. Try and center it as much as possible so you can get the best coverage. I just wish they cut them just a hair bigger. You will see what I am saying unless they recently changed their pre-cut sizes.

Haha! Thanks man! I didn't even think about the flames on the sidewalls. Good thinkin!!! I am running 18x9's with a -12 offset. I think that's the same as 4.5" backspacing if I'm not mistaken.
