I've been digging through the forums on here and everywhere else reading and looking for the past week and a half and I'm still some what confused. I'm really wanting to throw a 6" lift under my access cab. I've really been looking at Fabtech's 6" and Pro Comp's. I'm only lifting my truck for the looks since it's a 2WD, yes I know, a mall crawler, let the jokes fly:crazy:. The biggest I'm gonna go on tires is a 34 in a Nitto Trail Grappler with an 18 or 20" rim, if that's even possible. What should I do?:help:

since you are a prerunner, you should do a spindle lift.

You shouldn't have a problem with 34s. I know plenty of people who run 35's with them buuuuut you should probably get a regear if you do. If I would have gone with a 6 inch I would have got 33's. They're easier on the transmission and look just as good IMO.

    That's why I'm avoiding 35s. A good friend of mine has an 08 4 door running a 275/70R18 under a 3" Toytec lift. Those are right under a 34, something like a 33.6. That's what I was looking at.

I say go with that then, might be a little beefier to try a 285 or 305 but 275/70R18 shouldn't rub at all :D

I like the price on that one a lot better, lol. What's the difference between this one and the Toytec?

Its more for what you are going to use it for. The coilovers in the toytec lift is what you are going to pay the extra $$$$$ for. The other one is spacers in the front, blocks in the back. I think you said you dont really off road, neither do I, so IMO the toytec one is over kill.

there are so many options with spindles
you could go with spindles, adjustable billsiteins in the front and get the 6 inches you want. Or you could go with Eibachs...it goes on and on.

Most people on here dont like blocks so they look into getting a new leaf pack from allpro offroad.

Ill stop....theres so much you can do.

I was thinking a new leaf pack. Just didn't know where I should get it from.

How, exactly, would I achieve 6 inches out of a new leaf pack from them? A new 3" pack with an AAL?

install a 3" block under the new leaf pack, the allpro leafs give you 3-3 1/2" gain by themselves then you'll be at 6:cool:

Makes sense. Now I get to wait on tax returns so I can start doing all of this, haha.
