Dakar Leaf Pack through Amazon

Just wondering how many people have ordered Dakar leaf pack or any leaf pack through Amazon? Shipping from different sites is killing me and Amazon has free shipping with Amazon Prime. Thought I would ask before I ordered that kind of stuff.

 

I just bought my rear locker from Amazon, go for it.

 

Did you happen to read the review on Amazon for this product?

"I bought this item thinking I would be getting a pair of leaf springs but instead only received one. Apparently this is only for one leaf spring and its the driver's side spring with the + on it. Even if you order two of them, you still recieve the wrong item. They are also cheaper for a pair on toyteclifts.com. They also make it a point that you are only purchasing one and that you need to buy 2 of them. Hope this helps others before they purchase this item from amazon."

It looks like memario1214 didn't encounter this problem, but it's something to think about.

 

I ordered mine from Amazon awhile ago when they were shipping these as pairs. Only issue I had was that UPS bent on of the U-shaped leaf guides. Was able to fix that with a hammer, even though both Amazon and ARB said they would exchange it, but I wasn't willing to wait or to try and ship it.

I believe it wasn't too much long after that, they started shipping the springs separate and not as a pair.
