6" ProComp lift from the dealer, slow build in progress
I have a 6" Pro-Comp lift with blocks in the rear. I am looking to get rid of the blocks and gain articulation. I am considering the following options:

    1. Alcan springs arched for 6" lift.
    2. ATO shackle flip with suitable springs? To achieve the ride height
    3. This shackle flip http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/12264-TBranco-s-06-Tacoma-build-up, I have contacted the original fabricator and he is still making.

My decision will not be based on cost but on what best achieves my goals:

    1. Get rid of blocks
    2. Improve ride performance
    3. Gain articulation capability

The truck is also a daily driver and generally will see forest trails with some rock crawling but nothing extreme. I live the east coast so desert washboards are not routine, though I would like to make a trip out that way.

Please provide pros and cons as well as specific experience.

I'm interested in this as well, odds are no one has done it on a DB lift yet. Gonna need some LONG shocks to get full down travel, the stock 6" length dirt logic's are what was affecting my down travel at Shoe Creek.

I have a similar shackle flip as the link you post. 4" lift up front and it matches nicely a little take with 6" shackles.

Black Pipe, A few questions for you:

    Who made your set-up?

Did you notice any change in body roll? handling?

Are you using regular joints, or are you using Creepy (Johnny) Joints?

    ATO Shackle flip
    XJ lift shackle
    Custom Length leaf pack

you can get near the same droop using an All Pro Expo pack ( 2 inches less) Expo nets around 4" unloaded and 1 shackle should get you close. the ATO flip is adjustable so as to give tuning options.

It was a custom one off setup using a homemade bracket and trail gear shackle mounts. I am using regular poly bushing setup with greasable M18 bolts. The body roll is a little more than stock buy nothing crazy

Does anyone have the contact info for someone who can fab these shackles for me? OP, can you give me the contact info to you the fabricator, if he is willing to make it. I see black pipe is banned so guess I can't ask him for a pair... Also not sure but these still require me to get an ATO shackle flip right? FYI I am looking to add 2", in order to lose my block...
