So, i'm looking in to buying the Bilstein 5100s(Front only) later this week, i've heard nothing but great news about them. I wanted to get a Rough Country 3 inch lift but heard nothing but horror stories, so I think I will go the safe way. But, I have a few questions.

    1. Can I run my stock springs w/o any problems? i plan on setting the Bilsteins at 1.75.

    2. I want to install a rear AAL of 1''. Will I need to get new shocks for only 1 inch rear lift? Cause i plan on sticking with my stock rear shocks for now until I can get a few bucks to get the rear Bilsteins.

    3. Can some of you guys post so pics of your trucks with the Bilstein 5100s installed and just add at what notch its at. (.0 1.75 2.5)I really want to get a 100% idea of what im getting.

PS: Im really a noob at lifts this will be my first time getting any lift, so will there be anything else I need in order to install these items?

    thanks, Chris

    1. Stock springs should be fine at that level

    2. 1 in AAL will work, possibly need extended break lines but I doubt it. (Im a 1st gen so not too sure)

You might want to get the 1/4 inch toy tech spacer for the driver side, not sure if stock already has that

Stock springs are fine at that setting; that's what mine is set at. You don't need extended brake lines for the 1" in the rear. Not sure where you'll find a 1" aal though. I have a 1" block in the back that I'll be selling a week or two. I have pics in my gallery.
