    Gents,

I've done several searches and read lots of good info on this site regarding lifts. Looking to bring my 14 DCLB (with TSB rear) up a few inches and I've narrowed down to two options from a budget and goal perspective.

The truck is my daily driver, limited if any off-roading (camping and skiing) but I deal with heavy snow for a good portion of the year

    Option 1:

Adjustable 5100's with stock TRD sport coils set to 1.75" + 1/4" toytec spacers on both sides ~ 2.25" front lift with a 1.5 aal.

    Option 2:

Full OME kit (coils and shocks) with the 885 springs and 1.5aal - no spacer, so from what I've read approx 2.5" in the front.

I don't want to deal with new UCA's and the other complexities of going 3" or over. The price difference between 1 and 2, when factoring shipping and duties etc, is about $350. I know the OME lift gets lots of support on this board however my question is this, if I'm not doing any off-roading will I even notice/appreciate the difference between the OME and 5100 with stock coil option?

Thanks guys. Oz, from what I've read the 884 and 885's are the same spring rate (884's are just shorter), so why the 884 + 1/4" spacer vs. 885's alone?

I'm not planning on a front bumper replacement or winch etc so are the 884's a better riding spring?

They are the same spring rate , but I think that going with 884's & 1/4" top plate spacers could reduce the chances of " over speed bump goes clank "

I ordered my full OME kit with dakars, 885 with sport shocks front and rear and no top spacer but did do the trim packer for drivers side and got the LR UCA's, diff drop kit just in case along with CB drop kit from headstrong. I received the $30 off discount for being a TW member. Marie was awesome to deal with and will answer all your questions. Received everything in exactly one week and im on the east coast. Great price. Saved about 500 going thru Headstrong. I even had them mount the springs for me. Long story short they all get put on this weekend. Cant wait. I have a 13 TRD sport DCLB 4X4. My lil boy becomes a man this weekend!

You'll have to show us the end result with some pic's, I have the same truck with a Leer shell. I really need to get this thing lifted and your choice sounds about what I need.
