Rear shock install

    A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
    Got some 5125's at 8" and 8.5" travel that I want to install. Don't own a floor jack so any tips to compress them w/o using a floor jack to jack up the frame? I got my OME's off and couldn't compress the 5125's to mount them so I put the OME's back on for now. The OME's was easily compressible w/o the floor jack the 5125's not so easy. Any tips on how to compress the Bilsteins enough to bolt them up? Thanks.

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    Use the OEM Bottle jack.,

    Will that extend high enough to get to the frame cause my truck is lifted? I didn't even think about using that thing. Or use it to compress the shock or raise the truck?

    Put a piece of wood under it. The shocks should collapse easy enough.

    I'll try that. A scrap piece of wood to even use to compress the shock enough. Totally slipped my mind I have that bottle jack in the truck. Thanks.

    Anyone know how high the bottle jack can go? I haven't used mine before. Don't have time to check. Trying to see if I even need blocks to put under. I was gonna use it to help compress the shocks long enough to mount them vs lifting the frame.
