RCD install - compression struts orientation

    I have a question about installing the compression struts.

    The instructions say the offset should go to the inside. I interpreted that to be at an inward angle as it goes to the transmission crossmember. However, it looks like it's at an outward angle on the picture here:

    They are also at an outward angle on this Tundra install:

    I called RCD and asked them. They guy I talked to said it should be inward towards the transmission crossmember, but I got the impression he wasn't 100% certain. How did you guys install yours?

    Nobody have an RCD lift they can give me some feedback on this?
