6" BDS Coilover Question 2014 Taco

Is there better or comparable lifts for performance in this price range? Preferably from an owner or someone who has personally dealt with this. Any conjecture is ok... I feel a little short on info whether this is a solid deal or not:

Keep in mind this is my first 4wd taco and I was originally thinking the typical Bilstein upgrade for the 1.1k... But I'm the type that the moment I spend the minimum I'll regret not diving in head first. I'm trying to get into more of my local OR group runs, but they are all jeep owners (great dudes) but basically i gotta lurk tacoworld for any help.

Also is BDS still pretty well regarded (based on all the forum searching) or is there at least some comparable other option for 6" OR lifts? Anyone got a trick to getting even some kind of discount? Cost of shipping on top of parts is going to be rough.

Any opinion greatly appreciated, thanks gents.

Can probably answer most of your questions. I know at least 2 of them have the BDS lift.

To save on shipping, I drove to the local 4wheelparts store & picked up my lift. And to save even more, I installed it. But I don't think they offer BDS.
