I have a 2013 pre runner OR with bilstein 5100's all around and the front is set to 1.75. I've noticed that its pretty rough riding...guessing the compressed progressive coil, is it worth replacing with a Fox or Icon coil over? Will it be that different? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

We have similar set ups. I have a 2013 Sport with Billies. Installed the adjustables up front to take out the rake, rides great.

I'm wondering how much lift I can get if I installed coilovers up front with a leaf pack in the rear?

Depends on what type of driving. Towing? Hauling? Besides Bilstein, the other mid-grade, bang for buck kit you have to be OME. Then from there would be coilovers. Cost $$$$ but they're rebuild-able, adjustable, ride is the best, etc.

Mostly around town, some lite towing and hauling. I thought of going with the Eibach or toytec coils but thought it may be little to no difference. I believe with the eibach and 5100's at 0 its about the same as the 1.75. I found the fox 2.0's for $800, not bad. I guess I would could sell my 5100's and OR coils for a few hundred to make up the difference???

It depends on the coilover, but most are 0 to 3 inches. I thought of doing the fox or icon and getting the icon progressive aal...I heard it rides pretty good. Your 2013 springs are probably still in good shape. I believe the icon aal raises it about 1.5 inches.

You could also run a eibach coil and get rid of a lot of the stiffness kiba a big jump going from just 5100s to coilovers... But yes coil overseas will be a night and day diffrence

fox extended travel remote resivoir coilovers, 14" eibach 600lb coils, All Pro tubular chromoly 1" uniball upper control arms, All Pro expedition leaf packs, 10" bilstein 5150 piggyback reservoir shocks 265/75r16 Goodyear wrangler MT/R kevlars wrapped around 16" Helo 791 gloss black, Mini H1 retrofits with 6000k bulbs, 18" magnaflow w/custom exhaust reroute various decals, Sockmonkey retro hood stripes
there's a reason 5100s are a few hundred bucks, and why high end coilovers are a grand and a half. If you have the money, the coilovers are the way to go

I used to run 5100's w/ eibach coils, and moved to 2.5" fox extended/remote resi coilovers w/600lb coils

it's like comparing a mcdonalds hamburger patty to a bacon-wrapped filet mignon

Do you know which eibach coils? I saw one that gives 1.6 inch lift and one that gives almost 3 with the 5100's at zero. Does anyone have a comparison of the billies at 1.75 (OR springs) versus going with the eibach's and the 5100's at .85 and difference in ride.~2.45 in lift. I wonder how it would compare??? Thanks
