Icon stage 1 set at 2" or 3"

Hey guys brand new here, and Have a couple questions for you all. So I just ordered the Icon stage 1 kit and 285/70/17 tires for my 2012 DCSB Prerunner:
1. How much trimming, if any, will I need to do if I set it at 2" and/or 3"? If I decide to lift it to 3" will I need to get new UCA?
1a. If I need an UCA which would be the better option icon, camburg, etc.
2. I also would like to lift the rear about an 1" to 1.5", what's the best way about doing so without breaking the bank? (AAL, new leaf pack, or possibly a block in the rear, pros/cons for doing one over the other)

It's primarily my daily driver and would like to still have a relatively stock ride quality, maybe some off roading but nothing too crazy. This probably sounds like a broken record already, but would greatly appreciate any input. Thanks guys in advance!

Cab mount chop and minor fender plastic trimming. Yes on the UCAs if set above 2.5".

Stick with icon since you have icon components IMO but any will do the job.

AAL cheaper option, new leaf pack the best option, avoid blocks at all cost if you want decent ride quality.

It's primarily my daily driver and would like to still have a relatively stock ride quality, maybe some off roading but nothing too crazy. This probably sounds like a broken record already, but would greatly appreciate any input. Thanks guys in advance!

If you stay at 2'' you will be doing a pretty good bit of cutting with a 285. If you go to 3'' you will still have to cut and trim it all depends on your alignment you want to shoot for 2.5 caster 0 toe and camber. I say get the UCA's and get the ext travel C/O's the first time. I have my C/O's right at 3" and the truck rides like glass. I can't stand driving other trucks with stock supsension set up because they can't compair. Some people complain about the truck riding stiff at 3" I love it ( I also ditched my swaybar).

All three options work. I chose ICON because I got them on sale for 20% and they match the rest of my kit. The look sick with the rest of my set up. They don't make any noise and get the job done.

I really think the progressive 3 leaf AAL offered by wheelers and ICON are a great alternative to a new spring pack. I wasn't ready to fork over the money for a whole new pack so I wen't with the wheelers standerd 3L AAL. I wanted the HD 3L AAL because I don't run the overload leaf but Wheelers was out of stock at the time. Overall I'm very happy with the standard 3L AAL They are great and flex pretty well for an AAL, and chose wheelers to save a few bucks over ICON. PLEASE don't settle for a block.

IMHO the truck rides SO much better than stock. Whatever hight you decide to set the truck up it will ride great. a if you don't want to go 3'' inches just get the coilovers and a good set of shocks for the back and run it at 2" inches. If you wan't to change it down the road crank the front up to 3" and change the leaves in the rear. You really have lots of options. I say do exactly what you want the first time so you will be happy. I couldn't be happier with my stage 3 kit.
