Hey, I just purchased my 2014 TRD off road. I have been looking into putting a set of wheels and a leveling kit. I was thinking about the Pro comp 2.5 for the front. Is this a good option?

Pro Comp is crap. Do it right the first time. Buy OME, Icon or Fox.
Do not use rear blocks either, use add a leaf.
Is better to spend the money up front than later after you find out the others are crap.
I'm same as you. Bought a 14 TRD Sport Pre Runner. Ordered Icon stage 1 with add a leaf and UCAs to fit 285/70/17 on a 17x9 wheels.

Stacked spacer lift, 22x12 wheels with stretched 33's, tow mirrors, bull nuts.
I made the leveling kit mistake on my '09 TRD OR Access Cab. It was a harsh ride and limited the suspension travel. I have an Old Man Emu 3" lift on my '14 and it's a night and day difference, although more expensive. No reason to put a cheap, crappy lift on a brand new truck.

Thanks, I will look into the icon. I have no idea as I have had Chevys for years. Geeked about this truck so I don't want crap!

I agree with everyone. I bought Pro Comps nitro kit which was 3" front and 1" rear for my 2010. It was good with the stock tire size and all but I was moving up to 33s later on and ended up going with Walker Evans and AllPro all the way around. The leveling kit puts a bad angle on the front struts which overtime will hurt or break the strut itself. Icon makes a great kit that ranges from different stages, etc. You just have to pay too dollar to get the right stuff as anyone else will tell you.

So I looked into the icon stage 1. If I'm reading it right, this will give 0" to 3" lift. I live in Michigan and just want a nice suspension to handle the trails up north. I would like about 3" and do the 16" TRD wheels with Goodyear Duratrac 285/75R16. Would the icon stage 1 be right for this?

The front coilovers are adjustable from what I know so you should be able to set them to your liking. Just set them right the first time because they will be a pain in the ass after a while in this northern weather.. (As I experienced with my WE)
