Hey what's everyone, I'm a long time reader but first time poster on tacoma world. I need some advice from you mid travel guys for my 08 tacoma. I have been doing my research and I'm planning on going with the camburg 2.5" uca kit with spindles and wheel spacers. I also want to put glassworks fenders on front and rear, so I can run 35" tires. My question is to fit 35s with this setup do I go with 4" flare with 3" rise or 6.5" flare with 4" rise? Also I will be running a pre runner bumper. I'm leaning towards 4" flare because I want to fill the space in the fenders, so it doesn't look stupid. I'm just worried that 4" flare isn't enough to fit 35s. Let me know what you guys think, any advice would be helpful.
    Thanks

This sounds like a pretty good problem to have. Too bad I can't help you...

No it is not. You don't need big monster flares for it then.

Yeah the more I think about it, 35s would be tough to fit. The camburg spindles do give a 4" lift so that will help a little bit.

I don't think those spindles will work on a 4x4. Do some research before you drop the cash on those.

What G8Keepr says. Spindles will not work with 4x4.

A local-to-me-member on here, LoadedTaco, runs 35s on a mid-travel setup. I've personally see his rig and theres not much left in the inner wheel wells. I think he had to remove his flares and cut 2" off his fenders. I know he's had to do the CMC twice after not having enough clearance the first time. Also, he just re-geared so be prepared for that too. Not bad mouthing his rig at all because every time I see it I :drool::drool:

I'm personally going to run 33's on my mid-travel. To me, it's not worth the extra rubber to cut as much and have to re-gear. Just my .02

Oh ok thanks thats good to know. That saves me some money right there. I think I might just go with 33s instead, seems like less of a hassle.
