icon stage 3 with tubular ucas

well i had originally planned on getting the ulk or boss kit from toytec, but have now decided to with the icon stage 3 kit with tubular ucas. im going to be purchasing the kit from GotExhaust and was wondering if anybody could recommend anything else i might need. Thanks

 

good choice on the Icon setup. I have the Icon stage 2 and love it

 

Its a great kit. I basically have the same except I have the OME Dakar leaf pack in the rear. I got my shocks from Got exhaust too. He is great.

 

And after seeing Dave with his icons on the trail. I had to get some...

 

Make sure you have a conversation with your sales person about what the right parts for your application are. I have seen a lot of the wrong stuff being ordered lately. Especially if there isnt a clear return/exchange policy

thanks, is there anything else i should get though? im thinking the billet covers for the ucas. just want to make sure im not forgetting anything.

 

You don't need to get the covers but you can. Helps keep them from getting dirt in from the top. I did purchase them for mine. Some people don't like them cause they are held in with 3m tape. It's up to you.

 

For CO Springs and all the salt and crap that is on the roads in winter the covers may help protect the uniball some more. I would definitely get the caps if I were you. Cheap insurance

 

is it gonna be bad for these coilovers to be sitting for a few months? i want to order them now, but im currently in afghanistan

 

^A few months? No problem. A few years might be bad (shaft seal may dry out).

I would upgrade to 2.5" rear shocks and a full leaf pack (e.g. Alcan) if high-speed wheeling is in the plans.
