3" lift EIBACH coils w/ 5100's front, OME/ Dakar leaf springs w/ toytec adjustable shackles at 1.5" and 5125's out back. 33x10.5x15 KM2's Relentless DIY steel bumper.
4"+ then your looking at drop bracket lift

If it's for looks then for a 1st gen 3" is enough and gives you the clearance needed to run 33" tires or 35" tires if you cut and trim. This is just my opinion so take it with a grain of salt. If you want to go above 3" then go with a SAS (solid axle swap) and you'll be sitting at about 4-6 inches of lift over stock, maybe more depending on the springs used. Like someone said above, there are tons of options, even long travel can get you 4". It all kinda depends what your gonna use it for, the quality you want, and how much $ you are willing to spend.

Another option is go 3" suspension with coils and springs then add a 1" body lift. A slight body lift will be ok but I wouldn't recommend going higher.

so is 3 inches of lift enough for 33s without having to cut out the trim?
