Movement in front leaf spring mounts

    I have started to notice some clunking as I reverse/pull forward over the lip at the end of my driveway. When I do so, each wheel raises/lowers one at a time, causing the suspension to flex somewhat.

    I had a neighbour drive the truck while I poked around trying to feel/hear the source of the noise, and I could feel some movement in the leaf spring where it connects to the front mount.

    After 200,000 km and some good use the spring packs (3+overload leaf, Canadian spec) are pretty flat.

    Does it make sense that the bushing in the spring itself could be worn out and sloppy now?

    I'm looking at General Spring for the replacement, since I don't want to lift the truck right now.

    Evening bump... does the possibility of these bushings being loose make sense?
