Can I do an "OffRoad" package upgrade?

    Just getting started
I just bought a Double Cab, TRD Sport, Long Bed. The long bed was more important for what I do than the locker, but I would like some of the suspension upgrades in the Off Road package. Is there any reason why I wouldn't be able to do a simple swap in for the shocks/coils?

Would I need to change the leaf package in the back?

If I do all of this, what size tire could I go to? (not interested in actually lifting the truck, just maximizing what I have)

I realize I don't get the down/up hill assists, but that goes in the same category as the rear locker. I am mostly interested in easy off road in sandy areas / beach driving.

Or is this just stupid because there are other/better options than OEM upgrades?

I apologize if this is a bit newbie of me, but I did do some searching and didn't see this thread.

    Any useful thoughts greatly appreciated.

Honestly if you already got your trd sport why not go for an aftermarket coilover? In the long run those will be better for you, suspension wise I think your current stock setup can easily tackle sand and beach driving.
Yes there are better options than OEM upgrades but you can easily find some in the for sale threads because people upgrade and have no use for their stock coilovers
You don't necessarily have to change the leafs in the back if you're changing the coils and shocks
    My .03 cents

Just remember it's always easier to "get it right the first time" no spacers, no body lift kits, just stick with the mid-higher end products it'll save you $

    Getting there...
Way better options than OEM. Especially the rear leaf springs. OME or Bilstein for cheaper, but still quality. Icon/King/Fox/SAW/coilover company x will be the next step up. Do a search on here for more information than you'll need.

I have a question about the rear shock length of an SR5 oem stock black shock length vs the TRD OR blue and yellow shock length. Can anybody tell me if they are longer? I installed a three leaf progressive ICON pack on the rear 1&1/2"
    and wanted longer shocks.
