Im Revalving a set of fox 2.5 factory series shocks on a '06 taco. They are a little too harsh on washboard, good on medium hits and a little soft on big hits. Seems to me that switching from 5w to 7w oil and throwing in a flutter stack should get a good compromise on all 3 situations. I have valved shocks before on trail buggys and ultra 4 rigs so this isn't beyond my skill level but I do not know what the factory ipf depth is supposed to be on the resi. (Fox is closed) Anybody know off the top of their head? I guess I could just dump the nitrogen, pull the end cap and measure before I pull the shaft..... I think I just answered my own question.

Huh? I did not know that, in that case I guess I will just go up one shim thickness on the step down shim. Any idea whats in the factory stack?
