The specs on the 888 are the same as the 885 but 10mm taller

    Interesting.

I believe that, roughly, whatever you add at the coilover, you get double that at the wheel. This is not a highly technical answer, I just seem to recall seeing that correlation on 2nd gen tacomas.

Well I ordered 886s, I'll have a set of 885xs for sale next week that only have about 2k miles on them if any one is interested. I'll report back after installing the 886s on the billys.

Yep, the 5mm trim packer spacer I'm about to add should net about 10-12mm (1/2").

So over the weekend I installed a 1/2" top plate spacer on top of my 885's and also installed my Dakars with the extra leaf in the rear. I got a 1" gain in front. I'm not quite level, the rear is a little higher but I think it will settle and be close

886s are installed! Along with All Pro UCA's and 1/4" lean spacer 3.5"! Rides awesome not too stiff at all handles great and 3.2 degrees of caster makes it drive like a champ. Put a couple hundred miles on it this weekend, no complaints what so ever. 50ddc0b1f75fc1a77ea9ad9326aca949_e132a378483c5d0f8fd90944eee4074aba2af4b0.jpga817d047f2eeb6598dd55d27c6b95a21_77fca2fcf8bf06418867437279cd80b73b93b9e9.jpg

Winch and All Pro skid are on their way. AP sliders will be soon to follow. Hell I (200 lbs) set on the bumper checking oil and had a buddy measure, dropped about a quarter inch. Couldn't be happier with it so far, they seem to work well with the 5100's

This is great to hear. Can you pull a measurement for me off the front end? Center of hub to bottom of fender or bottom of flare. I wanna see how far off I am.

Right at 23.75" center of hub to flare. It's higher than I thought it would be. It really does ride and drive great. Diff growls like a yeti in heat but other than that no problems! Lol. Should set good after it's loaded out. But again the 886s are just a band aid until I get the CO's

Ok so you're sitting a 1/4" higher than I am. Guessing those springs will break in and settle a bit. Considering my setup is equally a temp one until i can either SAS or CO, I can get away with not ponying up for whatever 88x I was considering to resolve this issue.

    Thanks for measurements.

And FWIW I am fairly happy with the ride of my truck at this point. The combo of adding the spacer and the Dakars really changed more than I expected.
