Is it possible to install or buy a shackle lift kit for the 2nd gen/2014 Tacoma's? And if so, where would I even begin to look?

My goal is to add a bit of lift (3-6 inches) and also be able to flex if need be. I have a rough country 3'' spacer lift and 2'' blocks in the rear installed already. Stock front shocks and rough country shocks for the rear. Any advice/guidance will be very appreciated.

Get rid of/sell the spacer lift and blocks. Replacing those travel limiting components will easily help gain you more travel. Replace them with some 5100's, the OME kit, or a icon/fox/king coil over kit for the front and an add a leaf or new leaf pack for the back and you'll gain at least a few inches of travel. To get even more front end travel you'll also have to replace your upper control arms at some point or even go to a full travel kit. It all depends on how much dough you have but doing it one piece at a time yourself is doable and really the best way to end up with exactly what you want.

Your tacoma cannot handle more than 3" of lift purely from suspension without damaging the cv joints. If you want to go higher you will likely have to go to a drop bracket kit that will drop your front end differential down and restore the factory cv joint angles. Drop bracket lifts are arguably more for show than serious off-roading. The drop bracket kit will not increase suspension travel. If I were you I'd stay at 3" then put on bigger tires to gain a smudge more height.

    Have fun :)

Much appreciated! I'll just go with a 6" suspension whenever I have time to install it. I just want a good stance and good suspension travel. I guess if I want to go big and have reliability I might as well spend more money for the quality. Thanks tho!

By the way, who should I look to for a good differential drop kit?

Front diff drop is useless on an 05+ taco, just do a quick search on the subject and you will see lots of people taking them off. Lots of people will also steer you away from the 6" lifts, they are just blocks and spacers on a bigger platform. I'm not trying to sway you in a way or not, I actually dig the 6" look but it isn't practical for offroad use since the front diff drop hangs way low.
