I have a 2013 Access Cab Sport and installed the OME lift on it back in January. Since putting it on a weird sound comes from the front end almost like a metallic sound or metal on metal (the best way I can describe it is it sounds like jumping up and down on an old spring mattress but 5x louder.). It happens over every pothole and speed bump. I was told that getting an alignment would possibly help, but the sound is still there. Has anyone else had this problem? I want to try and solve the issue myself before shelling out money to a garage. I hit potholes with the front driver side then do it with the front passenger side and it seems like the passenger side is the main area it's coming from (the driver side does it a little, but not near as bad as the passanger). There is no sign of any metal on metal contact though in any of the areas I've looked over.

I did not. Is the kit suppose to come with the relocation brackets because I didn't receive any. I guess I could remove the sway bar and see if the noise goes away then order some if that fixes it.

You have to buy it separately but it's only like $30

I'm not sure if your kit is supposed to come with them or not, but I just ordered some on Monday for mine.

Just ordered the sway bar relocation brackets from FatBobsGarage.com for $20 shipped. I guess I'll wait untill they come in and torque everything down when I put them on, kill two birds with one stone. Hopefully one of the two suggestions work. I hate taking my truck to the German garages over here. Thanks for all the input guys.

My SGT has a double cab 2013 and has the same lift and he said he put the sway bar relocation kit on his and it still makes the same noise. Could alignment have anything to do with the noise. The German garage for some reason aligned my truck to the specs of a Rav-4. I was once told that maybe a second alignment could solve the issue, but I don't want to get another alignment until I get back to the states in 2 months that way hopefully it will be done to Tacoma specs. Not even sure how they came up with the Rav-4 specs because I took them a piece of paper stating the Tacoma alignment specs that my dad got from the local dealership in my hometown and faxed it to me.
